Buying view: Choose Triple Whale when a commerce team needs an ecommerce-specific view that connects measurement, attribution, and recurring growth operations. Begin with the data and reporting path, then add automation only when thresholds and ownership are explicit. Ask for a quote at the business's actual GMV band rather than budgeting from a single displayed plan card.

Capabilities

Triple Whale's current product page presents a measurement foundation, analytics, Moby, and automation as connected parts of an ecommerce operating system. The Free plan includes Triple Pixel, first- and last-click attribution, and a post-purchase survey. Foundation adds multi-touch attribution, dashboards, segments, data activation, and Moby; Automate adds Moby's recurring work and threshold-based campaign actions; Enterprise adds measurement methods such as MMM and incrementality work.

What problem it addresses

Performance, marketing, and commerce data are difficult to use together when attribution, shopper behavior, campaigns, and recurring reporting live in different places. An operator needs one measurement foundation before asking an AI assistant to recommend or automate a business action.

How people use it

Connected commerce and marketing data, Triple Pixel, and the post-purchase survey form the foundation. Attribution, dashboards, and segments sit above that data; Moby then answers questions, builds reports, and, on the Automate plan, performs recurring work or campaign actions under the thresholds the team sets. These areas work together, but they are not a mandatory left-to-right workflow.

How Triple Whale's product areas are layered

This is a module composition map, not a workflow chart. The lower layer is the connected data and measurement foundation. The middle layer turns it into attribution, dashboards, and activation signals. Moby sits above those layers for analysis and recurring work; campaign actions remain bounded by the thresholds the team configures.

What each module does and its role

Connected data, Triple Pixel, and survey

The Free plan describes a foundation of connected paid, owned, subscription, and organic data, together with Triple Pixel and a built-in post-purchase survey. Triple Pixel is presented as cross-device and cross-platform tracking, while the survey asks buyers what led to the sale. These inputs can improve the available measurement context; they do not eliminate the need to validate data definitions.

Attribution and dashboards

Foundation adds multi-touch attribution, no-code dashboards, customer segments, custom metrics, and a SQL editor. This is the layer that lets a team turn connected signals into a repeatable operating view. It should be reconciled with source systems before it becomes the basis for an automated campaign change.

Moby AI operator

Foundation describes Moby as working inside Triple Whale and Slack so a team can ask questions, investigate performance, build reports, and act on next steps. Moby gains its operating relevance from the platform data below it. It does not make a dashboard answer automatically reliable when the underlying measurement is incomplete.

Data activation

Foundation also describes pushing high-intent signals back to selected platforms for ROAS and LTV work. Activation is where a measurement result begins to influence another system. The team should confirm which destination, audience rules, and consent constraints are included in its purchased scope.

Moby Automations and campaign actions

Automate adds Moby's recurring work, including reports, KPI alerts, ad monitoring, creative preparation, purchase-order work, and audience updates. The same plan describes campaign actions that pause underperformers and scale winners according to thresholds the team sets. This is a governed execution layer, so thresholds and review ownership should be defined before it is allowed to change spend.

Selected scopeThis plan has a fixed published subscription price in this estimator, with no selectable public add-on or usage input.

This estimator models the fixed Shopify App Store subscription price only. It excludes Triple Whale's website GMV selector, Moby or other usage charges, external charges, taxes, and custom terms. Official Shopify App Store pricing

Triple Whale's public website uses an annual-GMV selector, so the plan card a visitor sees depends on the revenue band and billing choice. The vendor-owned Shopify App Store listing confirms the same current Free, Foundation, and Automate plan names and the displayed $219/$749 monthly levels. Because the named plans and public amounts align, this page shows the more complete website scheme once and notes the Shopify purchase surface below it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the $219 Foundation price the price for every brand?

No. Triple Whale's official pricing page uses an annual-GMV selector. The amount shown here is the displayed level confirmed by the vendor-owned Shopify listing; request the price at your actual GMV band and billing term before budgeting.

What is Moby's role in the platform?

Moby is the AI operating layer above the measurement and analytics foundation. The public plans describe it for questions, investigations, reports, recurring work, and—in Automate—some campaign actions under team-defined thresholds.

Does the Shopify App Store offer a different Triple Whale plan?

The current vendor-owned listing shows the same Free, Foundation, and Automate names and displayed public price levels as the current official plan scheme. It is a different purchase entry, and the listing notes that Triple Whale may bill charges separately from Shopify.

Not sure why all the 1 star reviews, but my experience has been 5+. The program itself is world class and the customer support is as well. Like others on here, big shout out to Juan for all his help. He'll be on the board soon, or should be at least. I will say - triple whale should give more warning about AI usage limitations, especially for the foundation plan... But I get it. That aside, 5-star.

Really bad app. Almost impossible to reach customer service. For the AI help section you need to buy credits. The same bad UI interface has been active for years. Seems like they are not innovating at all. Also Triple Whale just casually leaves includes VAT in your revenue (revenue should never be including VAT). I wonder how many people don't even realize this.

The support of Juan has been really great and responsive. He keeps going until he figures out the issue / complaint. 5 Star Customer Support!
