Bloomreach Loomi

Bloomreach's current pricing page lists three official products. Autonomous Search covers onsite search, merchandising, and recommendations. Conversational Shopping provides Shopping Agent, a conversational guide that helps shoppers find and compare products. Autonomous Marketing covers customer data, Email, Mobile Messaging, Web, Mobile App, Ad Audiences, optional AI tools, and Marketing Agent for email-campaign drafts. Each sales order defines the named modules, entitlements, allowances, implementation scope, and annual terms for its product. Current commercial and technical material describes Shopping Agent's relationship to Search differently, so the applicable Search scope needs to be stated in writing.

Purchase decision: Bloomreach’s current pricing page lists three products: Autonomous Search, Conversational Shopping, and Autonomous Marketing. The first two support onsite finding, understanding, comparing, and choosing products; Autonomous Marketing lets teams use customer data across email, mobile messaging, web, app, and advertising audiences. Each product needs its own capability and purchase-scope check.

Capabilities

This page introduces the official products in two workflow groups. Autonomous Search and Conversational Shopping cover onsite finding, understanding, and choosing; Autonomous Marketing covers customer data, multichannel outreach, and lifecycle work.

Official products

Autonomous Search and Conversational Shopping

What problem does it solve?

Autonomous Search

Autonomous Search addresses the problem of shoppers who are already searching or browsing a category but still cannot find the right product. It matches queries to the catalog and provides results, filters, rankings, and search suggestions in search and category browsing; merchandising teams can adjust relevance, recommendation placements, and business rules.

Conversational Shopping

Conversational Shopping addresses shoppers who cannot state the right search terms or cannot decide between similar products. In an onsite conversation, Shopping Agent asks about use, preferences, and constraints, then uses catalog data, price, inventory, and merchandising rules to narrow and compare options.

What does the product feel like in practice?

Shoppers encounter search results, category pages, discovery pages, recommendations, and conversational guidance. Shopping Agent is a conversational shopping guide for purchase decisions: shoppers can describe needs, add constraints, compare products, and receive selection help.

How the modules work together

The diagram shows three layers from bottom to top. Autonomous Search turns catalog, price, inventory, and attributes into a searchable, rankable foundation; Merchandising, Recommendations, SEO, Insights, and Testing control presentation and validate changes; Shopping Agent in Conversational Shopping brings catalog, shopping context, and rules into shopper conversations.

Structure: the bottom is the catalog-and-search foundation, the middle is discovery and merchandising capability, and the top is the shopper-facing conversational guide.

What each module does and its role in the product line

Shopping Agent

Shopping Agent is a conversational guide on search, product, category, or checkout pages. It helps shoppers turn a vague need into a comparable product choice. Shoppers can state constraints, narrow the catalog, and compare items using catalog data, price, inventory, and merchandising rules. It brings store product information into conversational discovery; public information does not confirm in-chat payment, order management, or general order lookup.

Autonomous Search

Autonomous Search is an onsite search and product-discovery system. It helps stores when keywords and filters make products hard to find. It matches queries with catalog data and shows results, filters, rankings, and search suggestions in search and category browsing. It is the shared catalog and relevance base for merchandising and other discovery experiences.

Merchandising

Merchandising is a workspace for teams that need search and browsing to reflect campaign or inventory priorities, not just relevance. Operators can set ranking, boost/bury, inclusion, exclusion, and filter rules. They can base those rules on product, attribute, price, inventory, or campaign data. It turns the searchable catalog into controlled presentation decisions across discovery surfaces.

Recommendations & Pathways

Recommendations & Pathways help shoppers keep exploring after a keyword search, on product, cart, category, and landing pages. Recommendations use views, purchases, and other interactions. Pathways organize products around new arrivals, sale items, own brands, or excess inventory. Together, they move discovery from finding one item to showing the next relevant or strategically selected option.

SEO

SEO organizes product and category information into content and paths that search engines can crawl. It suits stores whose product or category queries are hard to surface in organic search. It exposes related product content and links between products and categories, so search engines can navigate the catalog. It gives shoppers an organic-search entry to the same catalog they later explore onsite.

Insights & Analytics

Insights & Analytics helps teams find where shoppers get stuck in search, browsing, or product discovery. It shows journey, preference, and behavior signals. Operators can use those signals to frame a specific relevance or presentation question. It is the diagnosis step before changing a discovery experience, rather than treating one top-line metric as the answer.

Testing & Audiences

Testing & Audiences lets teams configure and compare discovery experiences for defined shopper groups. It helps when one launch cannot show who a change fits. It creates audience-specific versions and tracks changes to search, recommendations, or presentation rules. It helps a team decide whether to keep a discovery change.

Commercial plans

Autonomous Search, Conversational Shopping, and Autonomous Marketing each need scope and pricing confirmed in the sales proposal. The sequence below is packages, business scenarios, and alternatives for a similar official product; public prices, contract prices, and editorial estimates are labelled separately.

Choose modules by business scenario

Loomi's official packaging guide asks customers to choose the combination that fits their business needs and describes the work served by each app package and AI tool. This section organizes those official descriptions into common business scenarios: each starts with the need, then names the recommended modules and why they matter. The same scenarios can be used to explain requirements in a conversation with Loomi sales and confirm a suitable combination.

Official products

Autonomous Search and Conversational Shopping

  1. Shoppers still cannot find suitable products, and the team cannot tune results

Recommended modules: Autonomous Search. If a specific discovery job remains, discuss Recommendations & Pathways, SEO, Insights & Analytics, or Testing & Audiences for that job.

Why these modules: Autonomous Search combines an AI-driven search engine with a merchandising dashboard, so shoppers can find products and the team can tune ranking and presentation. The additional tools serve distinct jobs: related products, organic discovery, insight, or controlled tests.

  2. Shoppers need to describe needs in natural language and compare products

Recommended modules: Shopping Agent, with Search discussed as part of the proposed product-discovery setup.

Why these modules: The agent turns a shopper's question and constraints into a product-discovery conversation. When used with Search, it retrieves Search results and applies conversational context to filter relevance.

Official products

Autonomous Marketing

  1. The team needs to run lifecycle or transactional email

Recommended modules: Email. Discuss Marketing Agent when campaign drafting is the bottleneck, and Loomi Journeys when content or send timing needs to adapt to each customer's context.

Why these modules: Email creates and sends lifecycle and transactional messages, while its app package includes the Loomi Platform for the shared customer-data and journey foundation. Marketing Agent produces reviewable campaign drafts, and Journeys supports personalized lifecycle orchestration.

  2. The same customer needs coordinated email and SMS or WhatsApp

Recommended modules: Email and Mobile Messaging. Discuss Loomi Journeys when the team needs to coordinate content, personalization, or timing across the purchased channels.

Why these modules: Email handles email campaigns, while Mobile Messaging supports SMS, MMS, RCS, and WhatsApp. Journeys adds lifecycle orchestration for the messages a team plans across those channels.

  3. The store wants to adapt onsite content or offers and run experiments

Recommended modules: Web. Discuss Loomi Web when the team needs contextual weblayers, generated variants, or next-product recommendations.

Why these modules: Web provides first-party-data-based onsite personalization and A/B testing. Loomi Web adds contextual personalization, weblayer variant generation, and advanced recommendations for that onsite work.

  4. The native app is an important customer touchpoint

Recommended modules: Mobile App. Discuss Loomi Journeys when push notifications and in-app messages need to follow a lifecycle plan.

Why these modules: Mobile App supports targeted push notifications, in-app messaging, app inboxes, and dynamic content. Journeys helps coordinate the timing and personalization of the lifecycle messages sent through that app.

  5. The team needs one combination for every major marketing channel

Recommended modules: Enterprise Marketing. Discuss Enterprise Marketing AI when Audience, Analytics, Loomi Web, and Loomi Journeys all support named business work.

Why these modules: Enterprise Marketing combines Email, Mobile Messaging, Web, Mobile App, Ad Audiences, and Extensions. Enterprise Marketing AI groups the four Loomi tools for audience targeting, analysis, onsite personalization, and lifecycle orchestration.

FAQ

Are Loomi Shopping Agent and Conversational Agent separate products?

Bloomreach uses Loomi Shopping Agent on its product page and Conversational agent or Conversational Shopping in supporting materials. Public documentation does not identify them as separate SKUs or announce a rename. The sales order needs to list the exact SKU and entitlements; names alone do not establish two purchases.

How do the current official Loomi products relate to each other?

The current pricing page lists Autonomous Search, Conversational Shopping, and Autonomous Marketing as separate products. The first two serve onsite product discovery and conversational guidance; Autonomous Marketing covers customer data, messaging, and lifecycle work. Public material does not state that buying one automatically includes the others, so the quote needs separate product, module, and entitlement lines.

Can I buy the Shopping Agent without Bloomreach Search?

Current public sources conflict. The commercial product page says the agent needs Bloomreach Search; recent implementation documentation says the Conversational agent has a default search engine and gains advanced merchandising when connected to Bloomreach Search. The quote needs to state whether Search is required, which discovery capabilities change without it, and what is included.

What is Enterprise Engagement?

Current documentation calls the all-app package Enterprise Marketing; other official material still uses Enterprise Engagement. It covers Email, Mobile Messaging, Web, Mobile App, Ad Audiences, Extensions, and Loomi Platform. Extensions are server-side testing and personalization endpoints, webhooks, recommendation APIs, and API orchestration—not browser plug-ins. AI tools and agents remain separate add-ons.

Should I buy Enterprise AI and the same individual AI tools?

Usually no. Enterprise Marketing AI bundles Audience, Analytics, the Loomi AI Web tool, and Journeys; it is an alternative to buying those tools for named jobs. Available capabilities still depend on the purchased app packages, and Marketing Agent is excluded. Official pages use more than one enterprise-AI label, so the sales order needs the exact bundle name, availability, and entitlement list.

Can this page calculate my exact Bloomreach price?

No. The page lists four public price references: an earlier Discovery/Search page starts at $3,000/month while the current pricing page calls the product Autonomous Search, Ecommerce Search is listed at $45,000/year, Shopify Email Marketing at $22,500/year, and Marketing Agent starts at $1,000/month for existing Loomi Platform customers. They do not determine an actual annual contract, module price, implementation fee, overage rate, or negotiated discount.

Bloomreach Loomi AI Shopify app listing; it does not represent every Bloomreach product surface.

ALOHASSpain

From a usability standpoint, it's very technical; you'll need to hire a technical consultant to develop the scenarios. Initially, during negotiations, they'll underestimate the number of processed events you actually need to lure you in with a lower investment. Once you're signed up, they'll insist you're far below the processed events you require. They even pushed us to upgrade six tiers above our initial quote. In terms of features, it's interesting.

The latest version of the connector introduced valuable functionality such as two-way consent sync and sync product metafields. Bloomreach's team is dedicated to improving this integration with Shopify, focused on larger customer needs. Some opportunities are still present that requires us to create ad-hoc scenarios (workflows) in Bloomreach and/or Shopify to exchange information because the connector doesn't cover them natively, yet; otherwise, it would be a 5-star.

ADAPTIL UKUnited Kingdom

Latest integration the best yet app. Bloomreach CDP enables us to run experiments (a/b) on the site & emails, segment anything, more and more plug and plays to quickly set up scenarios for many use cases (happy birthday, welcome, abandon cart etc). Only your imagination and time are the limit.
