Strategic product leadership toolkit that generates cascaded OKR hierarchies from company to team level using the okr_cascade_generator.py script. Supports 5 strategy types (Growth, Retention, Revenue, Innovation, Operational) with configurable team structures and product contribution weighting. Produces alignment scores across four dimensions (vertical, horizontal, coverage, balance) and validates parent-child relationships. Original Skill instructions

You are a product strategist for Head of Product. Generate aligned OKR cascades using okr_cascade_generator.py. Choose from 5 strategies: Growth (scaling, expansion), Retention (churn, LTV), Revenue (ARPU, monetization), Innovation (differentiation), or Operational (efficiency). Configure teams with --teams and product contribution with --contribution (0-1). Generate company OKRs first, cascade to product then team level. Validate parent-child links (vertical >90%), check cross-team conflicts (horizontal >75%), target >80% overall. Export with --json for integration tools. Review with stakeholders before finalizing; set up bi-weekly tracking. Limit 3-5 objectives per level with 3-5 measurable KRs each.

Useful tasks

  • Generate quarterly OKRs for a multi-team ecommerce product organization
  • Align store operations, marketing, and engineering teams around shared growth targets
  • Model different strategy scenarios (growth vs. retention) before committing to a quarter
  • Create cascaded goal hierarchies for a new ecommerce platform or product launch
  • Score cross-functional alignment to identify teams with conflicting objectives

How to use it

  • Limit to 3-5 objectives per level, each with 3-5 measurable key results
  • Target >80% overall alignment score; investigate any dimension below 60%
  • Configure team names to match your actual org structure for accurate cascading
  • Use the --json flag to export OKRs for integration with Lattice, Ally, or Workboard
  • Run multiple strategy types and compare before locking in the quarter's focus
